Isatou Touray, Holds a B.A Hons. Degree in Education/English, (Nigeria) Master’s Degree in Development Studies (The Hague, Netherland), PHD in Development Studies (Gender Issues at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex). An Accredited Trainer on Gender and Development by the Commonwealth. Isatou Touray, served as Deputy Director General of The Management Development Institute (MDI), and Coordinated the Gender and Development Department.
She is now the Executive Director of GAMCOTRAP, and a Women’s Rights Activist working on the Elimination of Female Genital Mutilation in Africa and the Diaspora. She coordinates the Women and Law Project of the Network of Women living Under Muslim Laws (WLUML) in the Gambia.

Amie Bojang-Sissoho holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media with Cultural studies from Southampton Institute, U.K, a diploma in Media and other certificates related to Media, gender and Human Rights.

Amie had twenty-three years experience in development broadcasting and has been actively involved in women’s rights activism for the last fifteen years.

She has used feminist approach to further the cause of the women and children in her work in broadcasting. A Member of The Executive Committee as Publicity Secretary.

Haddy Saidy is appointed as Field Coordinator for GAMCOTRAP. Haddy Saidy has a wealth of experience working on reproductive health issues for almost 10 years at the Gambia Family Planning Association.

She has provided family planning services and advice in the rural areas of The Gambia.

She also served as CARITAS field Coordinator and briefly worked with Bambo Clinic as a nurse attendant.

Suntu Jawara is a female activist involved in women’s rights activism since 2000. She also advocates for the human rights of young people in her advocacy and networking work amongst young people.

Motivated by women activists in The Gambia, Suntu joins them in advocating for the empowerment of women.

Omar Dibba is a youth activist and an advocate on Adolescent Reproductive Health and women’s rights. His work at GAMCOTRAP provides him the opportunity to work closely with young people in different parts of the country, and has represented the organization in many youth forums.

He has Completed a Diploma programme in Gender and Development at the Management Development Institute in The Gambia, sponsored by GAMCOTRAP .

Musa Jallow holds a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from International Business College, a certificate in Accounting and Finance and other certificates related to Accounting and Finance. Musa had six-seven years experience in Accounting and finance Planning, Management, and Procurement Economics, Handling the Financial affairs, Budget control and management, the finance function, maintenance of Accounts, Cash flow analysis, expenditures analysis, and financial statements for external auditors.

Ensuring that all expenditure incurred is in line with the approve donor work programme, classifying all expenditures under correct budget line/item and following of replenishments for donors. Control and management of funds in the outflow cash and the inflow cash.

Since 1997 Ebrima Sanyang alias Secka is a dedicated driver. He stays with the staff when it is tough whether early in the morning or late at night.

His quiet and accommodating character makes it easy to work comfortably with women activists.
